Last week, we at Arome Science had a great time joining UConn’s “Building Innovation Networks Without Borders” event, put on by their Technology Commercialization Services (TCS) and Technology Incubation Program (TIP).

Our CEO, Alexey Melnik, represented us and dove right into the action with two solid delegations: first, a morning session with folks from Global Affairs Canada, followed by an afternoon with a sharp group from Türkiye. We spent the time in focused one-on-one chats and tours of the labs, hashing out some tangible next steps, like:
- Broadening our work together across North America and Türkiye
- Setting up supplier ties and joint development in metabolomics and diagnostics
- Setting up supplier ties and joint development in metabolomics and diagnostics
Forming partnerships for translational research that get ideas into clinical use quicker
This kind of exchange is huge for us because it turns our metabolomics expertise, whether targeted, untargeted, or semi-targeted, into tools that actually help biopharma and diagnostics companies. Talking shop with trade experts, academics, and industry pros like this speeds up tech handoffs, sharpens our experimental setups, and builds tougher paths to market.
“Innovation scales faster when you build bridges, not silos. UConn TIP’s global day made building these bridges easier.”
Alexey Melnik, Arome Science
If you’re keen on teaming up, maybe for co-development, sponsored studies, or clinical metabolomics work, just reach out to our team. We’d love to chat about what’s possible.
